Zach Hill
Owner/President
Zach Grew up in Tyler and has been in the construction and Oil & Gas industry his entire career. He has owned and operated many businesses and led teams through major A&D projects.
Zach has over a decade of experience in the business, has overseen hundreds of roof installations, and has worked with top manufacturers to find the best roofing products for projects.
Neli Ortega-Hill
Co-Owner
Neli worked in the Oil and Gas industry for 10+ years before obtaining her real estate license in 2017. She has managed sales teams for 2 different real estate companies and was top producing real estate agent in Dallas.
She currently practices real estate with NextHome Neighbors in Tyler on top of handling the day to day business operations for Modern Roofing & Restoration.
Saul De La Cruz
VP of Operations
Saul was born and raised in Tyler. He graduated from Tyler Legacy High, where he was on the soccer team. He then went on to UT Tyler, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, beginning in his father’s construction business before transitioning to sales.
Saul oversees all construction for MRR and manages multiple projects, coordinating with customers and installers daily. He consistently achieves outstanding results for our customers.
Saul enjoys sports and supports teams like the Cowboys, Mavericks, Texas Rangers, FC Dallas, and the Stars.
Kris Fite
Sales Manager
Kris, originally from Nevada, moved to Texas 10 years ago and begin his roofing career shortly after. He is a licensed Texas insurance adjuster with a strong industry experience and deep understanding of both roofing and insurance claims.
As a Sales Manager, Kris leads and develops the sales team while guiding homeowners through their projects with clear communication and straighforward expertise. He is especially passionate about training and mentoring new professionals in the roofing industry. He takes pride in helping others achieve their goals, grow their confidence, and build succesful caeers.
He lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Clare, and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his Harley, hunting, fishing and camping.
